Questions before machining.
Are these stock products?+
No. AXISCNC is presented here around custom machining solutions. Component images illustrate possible geometry; your drawing defines the requested part.
What should my first inquiry include?+
Start with the application, current model and drawing, revision, material, quantity and required finish. Include critical fits, inspection records and your desired milestone.
Can I start if the material is undecided?+
Yes. Describe operating conditions and what is fixed. Candidate materials and availability need review before a manufacturing scope is confirmed.
What tolerance is achievable?+
It depends on the feature, geometry, material, process and final condition. Identify the functional tolerances and datums instead of assuming one blanket capability.
Can I request a prototype first?+
State the sample quantity, purpose, test conditions and approval criteria. Note any differences from the intended production material or finish.
How is a price established?+
Geometry, stock, quantity, setups, finishing, inspection and delivery scope affect the quotation. A concept image or material family is insufficient for a confirmed price.
Are certificates and special tests included?+
List the exact document or test required, the acceptance criteria and the expected relationship to supplied parts. Availability and scope need explicit agreement.
Can I change the drawing after quotation?+
Share the changed revision before release. Changes may require a revised price, process, inspection plan or schedule.
How should repeat orders be identified?+
Provide the earlier reference, approved drawing revision and declared changes. Reconfirm quantity, material, finish and handover needs.
How can I send a confidential drawing?+
First discuss the handling method and any NDA requirement through the contact channel. This local design preview does not accept file uploads.
